When you signed up for the military and were guaranteed an education in one of its finest academies, there comes with it upon graduation your obligation to serve in your branch of the service for a specific amount of time. This was no free ride provided by the government or taxpayers and does not allow you to skip your committment and go directly to play pro football...I did four years in the Air Force right out of college (1967-71) and it didn't hurt my career, so be a man and fall in line.
