When Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was arrested in 2008 and charged with a multimillion dollar scam involving Vatican real estate, federal agents seized jewelry, watches and other items from the Manhattan apartment the couple had once shared. The actress also quietly turned over numerous gem-studded pieces of jewelry that the Italian grifter had given her. Much of the swag is now being offered for auction by the U.S. Marshals service via Texas auctioneers Gaston & Sheehan. Bids are being accepted on line at
this web address through Sept. 28.
