Hotel stays, especially for business travelers, are down dramatically thanks to the recession. That's great news for vacationers looking for a deal. Room rates in some cities have dropped as much as 30 percent compared with last year. Travel site Hotels.com just published a list of the cities with the biggest room-rate drops. Here are our tourist favorites from the list.
Visiting the Big Apple has never come cheap, and at $196 a night, few would call it a bargain. But that's down 30 percent from last year's $281 a night.
