During his first trip to Iraq, the president had turkey with the troops for Thanksgiving. The president helped served Thanksgiving dinner at Baghdad International Airport's Bob Hope Dining Facility.

"By helping the Iraqi people become free, you're helping change a troubled and violent part of the world," Bush told the troops.
