Sin City is back on the travel highlights for the year thanks to the grand opening in December of MGM Mirage's massive City Center project. In the heart of the development is the new Mandarin Oriental, a 47-story, 392-room hotel that is the only free-standing, non-gaming, luxury property on the Las Vegas Strip.
